Happy Hour Mixology #1
I decided I would start off with a Southern classic from the heart of good ol' Tennessee:
Jack Daniels Lynchburg Lemonade: To be enjoyed on a hot summer day!
What you need:
To Make a cocktail:
1 part Jack Daniels Tennessee Whiskey
1 part triple sec
1 part Sweet & Sour Mix
Splash desired amount of Sprite Lemon Lime Soda
Garnish w/ lemon slices & cherries!
To make a larger amount, triple all the ingredients!

Noah & Allie
I am amongst the other millions of women who adore the beautiful story between Noah & Allie in Nicholas Spark's novel "The Notebook". I am also amongst the other millions of women who shed (many) tears watching Noah & Allie's love story unfold. Any hopeless romantic would agree that deep down we all want to experience that kind of love, true intimacy, and devotion at some point in our lives. So here is to Noah & Allie! I hope you enjoy! xoxo

"I am nothing special; just a common man with common thoughts, and I've led a common life. There are no monuments dedicated to me and my name will soon be forgotten. But in one respect I have succeeded as gloriously as anyone who's ever lived: I've loved another with all my heart and soul; and to me, this has always been enough."

| Allie as played by the lovely Rachel McAdams |
Allie: Why didn't you write me? Why? It wasn't over for me, I waited for you for seven years. But now it's too late.
Noah: I wrote you 365 letters. I wrote you everyday for a year.
Allie: You wrote me?
Allie: You wrote me?
Noah: Yes... it wasn't over, it still isn't over.

Noah: So it's not gonna be easy. It's going to be really hard; we're gonna have to work at this everyday, but I want to do that because I want you. I want all of you, forever, everyday. You and me... everyday.

He loves me...he loves me not...he loves me!
"I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best."
Marilyn Monroe
Excerpts & Confessions of an Unpublished Writer III
The fall had been exhilarating. As she fell, she envisioned herself as a plane awaiting a frightful crash after technology seemingly failed. Disaster, she thought, bared a sense of beauty. Flight in itself, marveled her. She could imagine a pilot; feeling the power of the world as she cascaded throughout the vast sky. Her stomach found a place in her throat as she felt a surge of adrenaline escape her. The ocean, a once tranquil vision, choked her. As the piercingly cold water engulfed her she silently wept in agony. Gasping in horror, she stared wide-eyed beneath the salty waves. Slowly her life flashed before her eyes as she desperately searched for feeling within her limbs. Memory by memory her surroundings faded to black. For a moment she wondered if she had done the right thing. Painstakingly her brain tried to communicate the message to move, to swim, to save herself. She began to feel dizzy as her lungs swallowed the ocean water. If it was possible to cry, she imagined she would be. As the last sweet memory escaped her imagination she wondered in vain... What have I done.
