1. Color Coordinate:
Yes, it may be tedious but it gives you a reasonable perspective of what you actually own! AND...it narrows down the space and time it would take trying to find a particular top!
2. Use {accessories} as Art:
Those beautiful handbags you worked 3 jobs for? Put them on display! You can also fill them with newspaper so they keep their shape.
If your necklaces are in a heap: put hooks into your wall and display your lovely jewels. Again this will eliminate the time it takes to find that item.
&& Get creative with hats, scarves, etc. Your clothes are an expression of your style and personality. Display them as such.
3. Put jeans with jeans, Dresses with dresses...
...and so on. By categorizing these items, you again, gain perspective of what you own and it makes it easier to find.
